Tearing this bad boy down and running low on cash flow. Need to replace the knock sensor ( whole plastic connector melted off the top) have a new wire in the mail but don't wanna spend 140$ on new knock sensor if I can put a differently " labeled" part will work. Like a camry one? Also want to insulate the wire or any other part of this sensor to corrode, how do I do this?

So far I've got new water pump/ timing belt and tensioner to go on, a new oil pump coming in mail, injectors off for cleaning, and new rear seal to go on too. Spent a lot on this and trying to get out alive.
Heads at machine shop, timing and new valves an ˟˟˟˟. Complete gasket set from engnbldr in the mail plus head bolts.

Also ( with correct installation) how long will this motor last b4 it ( the motor) needs more work?
