i developed a miss in my 4runner i then checked the spark plug wires the tps with a multimeeter and looked for any vacuum leakes i also replaced the spark plugs, that made it better but there is still a miss. im throwing no codes and after i did all this i test drove it only to find that my engine revs up when i shift up and only up. Im at my whits end with this and i cant seem to find my problem any advice helps. i also cant check my timing or compression till this weekend due to a lack of the right tools. if anyone has ideas i would greatly appriciate it

 

figured it out it was spark plugs and the surging idle was my throttle cabe the rubber peice broke so its all gunked up and was sticking open.
