Will 15x7 wheels of '95 4R fit an '03 Tacoma?
My 4Runner is dead, but it has new BFG All Terrains on stock (15x7) alloy wheels.
My "new" Taco has good rubber on 16" alloys, but I don't want to run those wheels in our CNY road salt this winter. Will the wheels from my '95 fit on my '03 Tacoma?
I asked this earlier, but didn't get a response.
Thanks

Yeah, but the sticker on the driver's door jam of the Tacoma specifically lists the 15x7JJ wheels, which are exactly what's on my Runner. Were 16" wheels an option with the stock wheels being 15" on 4th generation 4x4 pickups?
Anybody else have input?

A simple test would be to just swap a tire over to the front, rotate the tire by hand to check for clearance on the caliper, UCA and other components...Check to see of the offset is the same etc..
After living in Watertown and Cheektowaga NY for 5 years--I totally respect the need to have winter wheels....

Shouldn't take but 15 ~ 30 minutes to swap one of them and see.

Well the snow is starting to fall so I went out last week to do the swap (my 4Runner still grinding along as the work truck at our experiential learning center, bad clutch and all).
I jacked up the 'Runner, loosened up the lugs and could not budge the wheels. I sprayed on PB Blaster, lowered the truck and rolled back and forth with lugs loose and could not break them loose. Jacked it up and beat on the tires with a firewood log. No luck. Last year I ended up breaking the bead on one old tire and could not get the rim off to reset it. I ended up having it towed to a tire shop and replacing all 4. Shortly thereafter, the clutch started slipping. I thought the new ones had not seen that much/any roadsalt. I was wrong.
Looks like I'm off to buy a set on 16" BFG All-Terrains for the Tacoma and the old 4Runner will keep its new shoes.
