Where Can i buy a deckplate?

I just bought a(n) Airaid jr. intake and I want to do the deckplate mod at the same time. I just need to know where to go to get one. I went to a local boat dealership and the guy didn't know what I was talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

Boat dealerships should have them... you can do a search for them online, I bet you could get one that way.

Sailnet has them as well. You can run a 4" or 5" in black, by Beckson. I run a 6" and the lip sticks out a tad too much and it looks funny up close. Personally, I would go 5" or just do the elbow mod. Not both though.

SoiledGreen98,
Did you get my PM? (my comp at work was acting kinda screwy) In my opinion, what i did is better than the deckplate. I'll have a write-up soon.

If you want the deckplate regardless, get the smallest one you can find which i believe is a 4"...there are way too many complicated reasons to explian why.

edit: westmarine has them in black. look... http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...allpartial/0/0

Thanks for the PM. What is that elbow from? It'll probably be better to limit unneccesary debris from getting in the air box.
