Exclamation Wheels and Tires suggestions

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of a nice set of rims and wheels that would fit into a non-lifted 2002 Toyota 4Runner. I currently have 30.6" tires with 17" rims.

I was wondering if I could fit 31" tires in there and some suggestions on which tires and rims to buy. Please not too pricey. I was thinking BFGoodrich Rugged Trails. I have no idea on the wheels.

first, rims and wheels are the same thing...
second, a 31" tire should fit fine...
third, wheels and tires are something very opinionated. just depends on what your looking to get out of them

Moved to the Newbie Tech section.

Not only did you not search but look at your thread title dOOd!
No idea what you're talking about until you click on it - doesn't make it easy for the people who actually do search.
I changed it for you.

My best advice to you is not to skimp on the tires - with tires you get what you pay for.
I would go with BFG All-Terrains and yes, you'd be fine with a 31" tire - I'm assuming you already have aftermarket rims on it since they are 17's?
I'm assuming you already know this but in those rim sizes they won't be measured in inches (flotation) they will be measured like 265/70-17, etc...

Post some pics so we can see what you're working with - otherwise we're just kind of shooting in the dark.

I'd go with the Limited 5-spokes and some BFG All-Terrains as you can't go wrong with that combination.

Looks like this dude read your mind - great deal on some LC wheels.

Those tires he has for sale are too big but he said he'd part with the rims for $250 which is a STEAL.

31'' tires would fit fine. I have 31's on my non lifted 4runner. Rim/Wheel? It depends on what type/size you want.

Sorry man, but when you hear the same question being posted over and over again, in the wrong category with a title that doesn't help anyone help you.....well it gets frustrating.

Don't think lowly of us, YotaTech is really one of the most user friendly Toyota forums out there.

As for the tire situation, it really depends what you wanna do, are you staying on the road, wheeling, some light wheeling, etc?
