wheel question...
I know this might have been discuss many times, but i couldn't find it. So, my question is... Could I fit a set of Tacoma or FJ rims on my 1988 4runner. I have a torsion bar lift, and potential leaf springs.
BTW, are the leaf springs worth it??? And also the Downey's torsion bar??.
Thanks, ahead of time.
Any help is good

hey guys just read in on this convo and wanna add that toyotas from 85 and older wheels are fine on newer rigs but the new doesnt on the old. there is a clearence issue with the steering knuckle. and like i believe that durangos have a 6 lug and somethin else as well that wont fit on old chevy or yotas. oh ya if your lookin for a couple inches of offset get some wheels off an old blazer. thats what i did. hope i helped a little

Thanks, it's cause I want to put new, a little bigger rims for my rig. But i wanted to keep yota rims on it., to keep it kinda stock. lol. I really don't like the 15" that i have. But i was just going to powder coat them black because i wasn't sure.
Has anybody have this done tha can give me some feedback??? good or bad

you mean manual hubs? if so ya man your good those things are on some vehicles and not on others. thats the great thing about mass production the stuff is interchangeable. just like some dashes will have an empty space for a gauge that coulda been an option to the origional buyer...same deal bro

Holy crap. MIGHT have been discussed already?
Here is a hint. When you come on to the site, hit the "New Posts" button. There are usually 5-10 threads PER FRIGGIN HOUR on wheels and what trucks they fit. There are stickied posts at the top of forums about wheels and what trucks they fit. There are write ups on wheels and what trucks they fit. There are websites other than this one that actually sell wheels, and have information on what trucks they fit.
Good luck.
