What's the difference?

Okay, so I'm a noob.
I want to do the spacer lift on my 92 4Runner from 4Crawler and I have searched about it and found nothing but random mentions of some people using the Panhard Drop Bracket and some didn't. Do I NEED it for just the 2" rear spacer and the 1.5" in the front? And what is the difference between the Basic Drop Bracket(Black one) and the Custom Bracket(Grey one)?

You can always send us an e-mail with the questions.

If you are essentially restoring the original ride height with the spacer (fixing the butt sag) then the panhard rod should be OK. If you are raising the rear end significantly over stock, then you may need a bracket to level out the rod. Difference between the standard and custom kits is the drop height. The std. bracket is for a 4" drop (matching a 4" lift). The custom bracket is for any drop (lift) height you want from 2.5" on up.

Okay, so I'm just doing the 2" drop.
Will I need the bracket?
And I'll have these pieces ordered first thing in the morning tomorrow, the bank was closed today and I needed to make a deposit before ordering so I'ma go manana.

Measure and see. Measure what? The height of each end of the panhard rod off the ground. Then add 2" to the frame end height and see if that will pull the axle too far to the passenger side. Likely not, but you can also check by lifting up the rear end 2" over where it is now and see what it looks like. As mentioned, if you are essentially restoring the original ride height (or a little more) in back, then the stock setup is probably fine. If you find the axle too far to the passenger side or if the driveshaft rubs on the gas tank skid plate then add the panhard bracket.
