What's the biggest lift I can do on my ifs?

I want to do a 4" on my Tacoma and I was gonna do 2" leaf and 2" shackle in the rear and was wondering if anyone had done a 4" coilover in the front on stock ifs and how does it work/Handel on and off road. thanks!

I haven't seen one advertised. no ones ever really cared about half an inch. What tires are you trying to fit? 285/75R16s? you only need 3" for that.

32s require very minimal lift if any, and would look kinda goofy on a 4" lift. I put a light duty OME setup on a 3rd gen 4Runner and it sits on 285/75/R16s with no rubbing.

I would shoot for 285/75R16s with a 3" lift. Look at toytec's OME setup. its a nice solid lift, easy to install. and it comes with everything you need.

get all the heavy duty ( HD ) suspension if you plan on doing bumpers, winches and other heavy equipment.

Also, if you're looking for a softer ride, fork out the cash for the OME leaf pack. the add a leaf is kinda cheap and rides pretty crappy.

285/75s are a really good size on tacomas and 4runners. you wouldn't have any complaints, i'm sure.

not necessarily. Here's a calculator to help you out.

285/75R16 is a 32.8x11.2

a 235/75 is a 29.9x9.3
