Yeah, I had a wheel bearing go bad already. I replaced both my front wheel bearings. So as far as those go, I'm good. I dog track just a little bid, so my rear shackles are next. Then back to the front for inner and out tie rod ends. and upper ball joints. I dont have the money for BFG ATs, though I would love to get a set. They're just to much. I done a little research on Tread Wright and have decided to go with them.

I am just about to buy some treadwright guard dogs in the 265 75 16. everyone I have talked to love them and nobody has lost a casing. One shop said they are more difficult to balance, but they do balance out.

treadwright.com!! for their "bfg a/t" knockoffs... it would cost 400$ to your door... and maybe 40 bucks to have them installed. smokin deal! 450$ for new bfg a/t installed...

kedge grip is for more offroaders in my thoughts...but i may be wrong.

the more aggressive guard "m/t" tire they have are a good tread design.. but they are a little noisy from what i have heard and obviously don't have the same road manners or wear...

depends what ya want... but treadwright all the way...

I am a tech at a chrysler dealership, so I will install them myself. No problem there.

Yeah thats kinda what I thought. I wont do that much off roading. But I will probably go with the guard dogs. I want something that will hook up better in the mud. Anyone know how they do in the snow??

The kedge grip thing is more for snow and ice, not so much for off road where you'll probably air down anyway although airing down will void the warranty.

I've got the Guard Dogs, no wheeling yet so I can't comment there, and they are pretty dang quiet on the street. Had the OTR's before and they were LOUD.

Okay cool. Thanks for the info. We actually get a pretty good amount of snow and ice here in the Cincinnati area. So I might have to think about going with that. I wonder if it makes a noticeable difference
