I have a 1990 4Runner SR5, but it has no power options, no chrome package, 4 cylinder, 5 speed, no sunroof, no cruise, no A/C, no anything.
It is a legit SR5 though, I have the original papers from the dealer.

IDK because the title for my 86 says sr5 but it doesnt have any of those options. And for TURBOBOOST-you have a different generation of runner than 94toy4x4fever does

I read SR5 first started when they offered a 5 speed instead of the 4 speed tranny. Wiki said extra chrome trim on fenders and interior trim, better quality cloth on seats, digi clock, and extra gauges, meaning tach and inclometer/altimeter pod, although inclometer was an option by itself outside of SR5.

wait im lost didnt all trucks 80' and newer have the 5 speed or did some have the 4 speed (unless they had the automatic) and if they had the 5 speed then would that make them all sr5's like you said?

i have seen pics of some first gen seats with sr5 logos all over them. mine has the chrome fender trim, chrome door handles, tach, 5 speed, v6, chrome windshield trim and rain gutter trim, with a chrome strip along the bottom of the body. all that and not a sr5 badge in sight!

My truck is an SR5. It has the alloy wheels, chrom bumpers/mirrors/windshield trim. It has a full gauge cluster, digital clock, flip up moon roof, power windows/locks, cloth seats, 5 speed.
But, it doesn't have a/c and my intermittent wipers don't exactly work. There are two settings for the wipers that both appear to be the same speed, and the dial for adjusting the intermittent setting doesn't seem to do anything.
