I have a 1982 toyota 4x4 it stopped running on me a couple of weeks ago, the truck still turns on, but when I try to put it on 1st gear or any gear it starts making this grinding noise and the truck starts jerking and eventually it will throw the truck out of gear with a loud POW!
I'm thinking it needs a new clutch, what do y'all think...?

 

I'd definitely be pulling the trans and checking the clutch before I destroyed the trans itself... That POW isn't good.
