i replaced all the doors, both fenders, and the hood on my truck with black ones cause my trucks were all messed up. so the whole front end from the fenders to the back doors is black and the rest is red.

what do yall think about a orange 2nd gen 4runner?

haha. yeah i am. i dont like the green, its kinda played out and im not a big fan of it. and orange is my favorite color. the accent color will be black.

go for orange. then add some two tone to the bottom and make it black. do it all flat colored. if not orange and black, red and black

thats exactlly what i was thinkin. a paint the grill, bumpers and all that flat black. except the toyota symbol it will be orange.

 

my vote goes for Orange and black two tone just to be different.

if i was to repaint my 2nd gen 4runner...i'd prolly go a Dark Charcoal Grey with black bedliner along the bottom (not on the fenders....that looks retarded) or white with the black bedliner like my '86 (check it out.."self painted rigs" thread)

or or jet black!!!..with dechromed everything..some new wheels cuz my steelies are rusting.

i thought about the general lee thing but thought the flag and letterig would be i little bit to hard for me to do.

not sure what orange im going to go with yet but it will be kind of a deep orange

 

I hate orange, but unless I am buying your truck, who cares what I think. You bought the vehicle you love, so paint it the way you love. I had an 87 4x4 with the old flip-flop purple/green/blue that I loved and sold years ago. Now I have another (88) and am thinking about going back to that 90's fav flip-flop, but not for anyone other than myself. Good luck! Can't wait to see pics.

 

thanks again guys for the opinions. it probably wont get done until this summer because im only 15 and cant work right now because of school. i will get a job this summer though and all the money will go to my truck.
