I recently purchased this TRD emblem off of ebay:

It comes with 3M self-adhesive tape on the back. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the 3M adhesive tape, and how well it stayed on their truck.

Is the tape strip enough, or would it be a better idea to also purchase this:

and apply a bit of the blue as well?

sweet... 3M is pretty classy... they should be fine based on previous performance, pretty much a ton of crap from factory is held on with something they made

 

3m tape is very strong. dont worry about it
