Lumbar Support Inoperative
Hello,
I am new to the forum and just purchased my first 4Runner yesterday. It is a 2002 4WD Limited. I have been doing a ton of research on this site in preparation for my new toy and I can't wait to start doing some minor improvements. The vehicle I bought is very clean and I think I got a great deal but there are a few things that need to be fixed. So...back to the forum title. I have done many searches on here to find any info on fixing a broken lumbar support (electric type) on the driver's side seat and haven't found a damn thing thus far. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Will this require a complete dissasembly of the seat to fix? Is this a common problem? ANY info at all would help. Thanks in advance.

well i can suggest to pop the switch off the side of the seat and inspect the switch itself and the wiring. i dont remember if it has a sep. fuse (probably not) but if it does check it and if not check the fuse that its on. after checking the easy stuff then you may have to consider the motor of it.
