who here has took there yota on a road trip. ive took my 87 turbo to vegas atleast 3 times and now i live here in vegas. didnt think it would make it at first but it proved me wrong

Yo,
I too have a 87 turbo truck with 242k miles. Motor original except a new timing set and recent valve job. Runs great but needs an intercooler to cool the incoming charge. Love mine and seems to never run out of power on the road.
