Tps/ missing when warm
#1
I have an 88 pickup with a 22re. Runs, starts, and drives like a champ. Idles great when cold then starts doing a bunch of missing and hiccuping when warm, the idle is consistent in speed, it just has that miss. So today I let it warm up and pulled the tps connecter and she smoothed out right away. Does this mean I need to adjust it, replace it, or is this one of those weird gremlins that seems like it would have nothing to do the tps and I'll have to do something weird like spit in my washer fluid.

Sounds like a 5v vref issue. Vref is uses in the igt/igf circuit.
You can back probe the vref at the ECU and maybe get an idea on it dropping below threshold once the ECU goes to closed loop.
