TJM T-15 Bar for different model years the same width?

Hi Folks

Just a quick one if anyone can tell me:
Regarding the 2 TJM T-15 bars for the 4-runner,
S1586Y: 1996-1998 Toyota 4Runner
S1586W: 1999-2002 Toyota 4Runner

Are they both the same width? i.e do they both cover the side flares on the widebody models? Just looking at the photos on the Sonoran site it looks like the S1586W is not covering the side flares.

Cheers

Matt

The actual bumpers are the same thing, it's the frame mounts/ bumper brackets that are different. Way different.

Yes, I thought that it was just the brackets that were different - so the 86W (post 98) cover the flares on the front wheels then like this? (a 97 surf from Aussie with an 86Y)

Well I got the S1586W bar for my truck. The mounting brackets fit correctly, but the bar wings do not cover the flares on the truck. They sit about 1" shy on both sides - clearly the bar is made for non flared models. Bugger.
