Tacoma rims to 4Runner?

Anyone know if I can swap 1999 tacoma Stock Aluminum rims onto my 1991
4Runner? Our wrecker just got a set with BFGs on them and is letting them go for 400.00. Thats a steal here in British Columbia.

Yes. All Toyota trucks use the same 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern.

X2 All 6 lugs will fit the same. I always see a ton of people running these rims on their 2nd gen stuff

Clarification:

All Toyota 6 lug (4wheel drive or prerunner) is the same, except for the new (2007+) Tundras which use some strange bolt pattern unique to them.

for some wheels you might need 1/4" wheel spacers for the front to clear the drive flanges

Tundras used the unique bolt pattern to prevent people from trying to put weaker rims. Its idiot proof.

When I have the cash, I'd like to find some Tacoma/3rd gen 4Runner rims so I can mount Nitto TGs. The 16 inch wheel opens up a lot of possibilities for tire sizes.
