Switching to 4wd fixes idle?
I've been having that stupid looping idle for awhile now, took it to the dealer and they said it it was the aux air valve, so i swapped in another. No difference, so I went to the wreckers and bought another throttle body, no difference. I check both TPS and they both read fine. We got about a foot of snow the past couple days so I engaged the 4wd to goto class. And for the 1st time in ahwile shes purring like a kitten again. What gives?

kegkiller just had a similar problem kept surgeing high and low turned out to be a vac line but heres the thing i had to reset the puter a couple of times before it caught on the the line was pulged in again so with that said take a can of carb cleaner and spray the vac lines to see if it surges theres you leak next fix it and take the bat cables off may take a couple times to reset but it worked for me

I have the loping idle (22RE) when I am idling with my foot on the brake or when I am idle and at full lock (and the power steering pump is still pumping). The idle is normal when I push in the clutch and the brake is off.
