Fuel pressure gauges go on an adapter you put in the fuel line so you can read pressure as the engine operates. Fuel doesn't pass through it, it goes past it to the engine just like normal. Tells you stuff. RH side under wear the clutch goes. Never run a fuel pressure line in to the pass comp, unless you want a crematorium.
Fix the leak, but if its not spraying everywhere, its fine for a moment.

an inline guage? what line would i put it in? and any thought why the tiny leak on the cold start injector fuel line would cause it to start running rich.
while it was leaking i could smell raw gas in the exhaust.
thank you very much for your input this is drivin me nuts.

try a refurbished, flow-matched set of injectors. prolly want em anyway if you plan on having the tuck

i cant find ant fuel leaks at all and i just rebuilt the motor little over 2000 miles ago injectors looked fine. but i dont know if they can look fine an still be bad maybe someone can open my eyes on that. the exhaust smells like nothing but raw gas.

did yours shutter really bad at low rpms like it wanted to die? and did you have that strong gas smell? what kind of wires did you use? i was considering my wires cause i noticed they was touching the egr tubes which get pretty hot.

cold start injector
so i think my csi is leaking. what is the best way to test this? can i just block off the fuel line somehow or do i have to pull it and block off the plenum and put something to catch gas around injector? seems like it would be easier to just block off fuel line but i not sure how??

i checked the csi it doesnt leak at all. the only other thing i messed with before it started running like this was the egr could the egr being slightly open cause it to run rich?? im going to try to block it off when it quits raining.

AFM and EGR issues
i have a 95 3.0 and i have a stuck open egr so im taking it off. only question i have about that is do i need to retard my timing or anything to keep it from pinging or will it even ping?
AFM
as far as the afm goes mine didnt have any resistance except on two of the prongs so def out of spec. i found one on here off of a 94 4runner 3.0 will it work on my 95pickup??

That AFM should work.
Remove the vacuum hose from the EGR before you go to the trouble of removing it. If the vacuum distribution disc or VSV are bad, they can leave constant vacuum to the EGR, causing it to stay open. You'll need to insert a 10,000 ohm resistor into the wiring harness plug to prevent check engine light, but it will run fine.
