Still flashing ERROR CODE 52

Ive got everything dialed in. im running 12degrees on my timing. But im still flashing error code 52 "knock sensor" Can i disregard the code or do i really need to get it checked. If the sensor or wiring is faulty i probably still wont replace it. Any at home remedies if its just the wiring? Or should i get the sensor replaced?

Check the wire running under the exhaust manifold to the knock sensor for damage.

Most likely its the pigtail that passes under the lower intake manifold to the knock sensor.
CHeck the plug that is right under the throttle body going down past the injectors and see if any of the wires are broke, don't move it to hard to damage the old brittle wiring.

You don't have to fix it if you don't mind no power and 8 MPG.

Pigtail is $13 from Toy, You will also need intake gasket set, The ones between the head and lower intake manifold I suggest from Toy.
This would also be a good time for timing belt and waterpump replacement.

Ill check that out. Already did the timing chain, water pump and thermostat, it's just throwing code 52 either because of bad wiring or because I can't get my distributor to hit 5 degrees on timing gun
