I have a hi steer already installed in my 1985 4runner. i want to know if i even need to worry about the step that says turning the ball around in the steering arm? Can someone please answer this for me thank you. Thinking about installing myself but dont want to but welding equipment. Thanks!!!

If you have hi-steer, then you shouldnt even have the J-arm, or the ball, to worry about

do you know if you have to adjust any of the components of the hi-steer set up to install the 7 in skyjaker lift? It seems to me that i just need to swap out the springs pretty much. Is this correct or would i need some other parts?

Is your truck currently lifted as of right now?
Because you seem uncertain about it.
If your truck has hi-steer, which means it has aftermarket steering arms on the knuckles, then you should just be able to install the springs.

Front springs are same on Skyjacker lift kit? right and left are same spring?

Why is procomp lifts for front two different springs but skyjacker is the same spring left and right? I know Trailgear sales a plate to raise the spring on driver side but i cant find this with skyjacker kit. Do i need this or does skyjacker have "Magic" springs? ONCE THEY ARE ON THEY LEVEL OUT?

PLEASE HELP

Well for one, your truck is gonna ride like hell after this lift, and at 7", 1/2" is pretty marginal.

Well it already rides like hell with 4 in procomp springs and my 33s rub. So i want a lift that is gonna clear atleast 35s.

Where do your 33's rub?
Also, why don't you consider rears up front, and 63 in. chevy springs..
Rides SOO good, and would for sure clear 35's
