Starting problem help!

I was driving my 93' 4runner last week and it completely shut off on me. I got out and pushed, luckely I was 3 houses from my girlfriends. So I put it in park and I wasn't getting any power. Had to undo transmission linkage to put it in neutral to move it. I cut back the cable running from the postive battery terminal to the fuse box and put on a new eye hole. Started up just fine.

Went back the next day to move it, so I put the linkage back together, and with full power to all accesories and lights, it wouldn't start. All I got was a clicking sound.

I got a brand new battery, got that checked, new starter, new starter relay, new ALT fuse, and new battery terminals. Still no start, still the click. I tested my pos. connection at starter and I was getting full voltage. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Just a guess but you never said what if anything you did to your ground cables. I say bad ground connection.

What kind of new battery terminals did you put on??

just curious you didn`t disconnect or have a poor connection on the wire that pulls in the starter solenoid coil.

The ground from the battery to the fender well? I replaced that about a year ago. It looks fine.
I just put standard terminals on. Nothing fancy.
Which fuse is that comming from? and how would you replace that wire?

When I undid the linkage I must not of put it back together right. I undid it again put it in neutral and it started right up.
