Please recommend which spark plugs would be best for a '98 4runner w/ supercharger and cold air induction. Thanks...

 

NGK or Denso are the recommended plugs for the engine. I'd assume to stick with those. They need to be dual electrode.

 

Either the Denso 5062 dual electrode plugs or the Iridium IK20 or IK22 long life plugs.

 

What is the reason to run dual electrode? Our ignitions do not produce/use enough power for that to matter. I use standard v-power NGK's with a 7 heat range and gap them down to 0.037. I change them every other oil change at that price (1.50 per plug) If you want, i can get you the part number for them since some people run into trouble getting the cooler heat range.

no, not on that site, they are all close to oem I believe...

edit: sorry, I saw cold air induction, but skipped over supercharger... I was just looking for plug recommendation and I know the topic covering superchargers and plugs has come up a few times before... don't remember where though.... spend some time searching, you should come across it
