If i weld some sliders on and then lift the body would it end up looking wierd?

yes.

more than an inch would probably look weird in my opinion, but its all about function with sliders.

 

Do them after that way you can adjust your weld point on the frame to make them look like the b/l is not even on it then add gap guards to cover the see through frame area.

would look BAD if you did it prior. With no body lift the sliders have to be welded at the VERY bottom of the frame.. I have a 2" BL and the sliders weld to the center (with scab plates and gussets) ..much stronger and looks way better IMO

I'd say after, since you might have problems accessing the body mount bolts with sliders welded on.

 

After would probably look the best, but if you ever decided to remove the body lift you would have to cut the sliders back off and re-weld.

 

No brainer IMO. 3" of gap would look horrible.
