Which Shocks?

Going to be picking up a set of 8 wrap FJ80 coils and 1.5" BJ spacers for my 93 4runner. Which brand and length shocks do people on here recommend for the most flex? Don't want a super harsh ride but want flex for when I hit the more technical/off camber trails.

Bilsteins tend to be the go-to shock for Toyotas. You'd have to measure to know what length you need though.

I use trailmaster since mine are more DD's than crawlers. Stay away from Rancho, they have become cheap Chinese made products that do not last even under light use.

Measure from the upper shock mount to the lower shock mount at full compression and extension.

They look like a good shock.
Anybody know a good place to buy them from?

They are great. However, mods are required to fit them.

After some thought I have decided to go back to an XJ. This IFS crap just doesn't flex the way I need it to and I couldn't be bothered to do a SAS swap. Cool rigs these yotas but not for me.

LOL Ive wheeled rocks, technical trails, FSR's whatever you can think of for years and never once had a single issue.
To each there own tho. I'm jjust not into this IFS stuff, it doesn't do what I want it to do.

I have a buddy with an '08 JK locked and loaded on 37s. He says unibodies scare him. He wheels a LOT, driving to Rausch Creek PA from CT every 2 or 3 weeks, and he says you can see the whole body flex on XJs that have been put through their paces. Very sketchy.
