Should I weld this back together or is there a better way to fix this?

i guess weld it though, possibly pick up a used one for cheap too, i'd rather do that. its no biggie to have a shifter break of in your hand, but theres always that one time you might need to slam the brakes and make an emergency downshift to stop in time for something, and thats when it will decide to break

 

 

i wish i could get a used one, but there are no older yotas in ANY junkyard around here, these things are rare around these parts

 

what would it take to reweld it or beef it up when u do so it wont break again. also see if anyone on here has that plate,

 

Buy a new or used one. I've seen your welding

got a half dozen + of the stock shifters how did ya break it let me now if ya want one s h and a pack of marlbros would be all i would charge ya
