Hello all, I need some help. I have a FZJ80 1994 and so far the truck is been great. However, I noticed that the transmission has a small problem. When I go on reverse and I push on the gas hard, the reverse disengages. The reverse works perfectly as long as I do not try to go fast. The rest of the gears work well too. I have been offroading with it and I have not had any issues.

I would like to know if anyone has experienced anything similar and if you know what the problem might be. Thanks for your help.

By the way, the transmission is automatic.

 

good edit-can you get a 80 series Landcruiser with a manny tranny?
