Removing rear seat backs

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear seatbacks without destroying them? They are pretty trashed and I want to replace them with hardboard or something. So I need the old ones for a template.

Seems to be some kind of clip but I can't see it well enough.

I have a 99 4Runner Limited.

it is some kind of clip, should just be a normal trim type clip that pops out. IIRC from my 96 which had a broken seat back, it was the pop in pop out type all plastic clips. find where the clip is at on the seat back and put a screwdriver on each side and pry up slowly and if you hear it start to break, stop. then move around the seat back to each clip until you have each piece off.
