Removal of rear bench style seat from 94 extended cab and install in 86 Xtra cab
Hey everyone,
I have a 1994 extended cab with the rear bench style seats (2ea) and I want to install them in my 1986 Xtended Cab. Can you all tell me how to remove the rear seat in the 1994 or has anyone done this modification.
I am also thinking about installing the bench out of the 94 for more room for the family! Could you all help me out, how is the back held up on the rear seat in the 1994 etc. Let me know if you have any experience with this. Any mods i need to consider. I have two kids in booster seats and they love to wheel!

From what I remember about by '84 X-Cab you will not have the room to mount the 94 x-CAB seat. You will just plain not have the room for booster seats in a 2nd Gen X-cab unless you and your passenger are under 5 feet tall and willing to slide the seat all the way forward..
i even tried a jump seat out of a Early 90's Nissan truck as it was the closest mounting bracket I could find...
Plus I believe(could be wrong) the 3rd Gen jump seats are mounted to the built in storage area of the cab like early tacos....might be time to get a 4Runner or bigger truck...

I have 95 4 runner bucket seats in my 94 extended cab and Subaru Legacy bucket seats in my 82 4x4. Both I had to fabricate. If you have a drill, a grinder, and a welder you could make just about anything fit.
