rear springs

just wanted to if anyone has removed a leaf from a leaf spring. i have one on the rear that is broke. the rest of the leaves are ok. thought this might increase flex also. note: this truck is strictly offroad.

Seriously?

Umm...yeah. People add and remove springs from the leaf pack all the time.

Ever here of an AAL(Add-A-Leaf)? What happens generally when you add leafs to the spring pack? It gets stiffer/resists flexing.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out what removing one would do. Does it?

Just remember if you do one side do both!!

In the olden days it was quite common to rebuild springs on larger vehicles don`t see it all that much any more.

Because of all the insurance a spring shop would need
