installing electric fan need help with wiring

hey,

i picked up an electric fan from the junkyard, and the harness has 4 wires coming from it.

black
green
2x green w/ stripe

i tried the fan out by conenecting it straight to my battery.the two green w/ strtipe wires seem to be the power wires.the other green wire, when i connected it to [+] did nothing. Do i just cut off the end of that wire and seal it? And since both green w/ striped wires work,do i connect both of them to my controller,or just one wire, and seal the other wire?thank you

As you will just make sure the fan is moving the air the way you want.

was it mounted behind or in front of the radiator.

It would be not good if it was not pushing air in the correct direction

I got 3 cups here. Which one is the red ball under?

You need to do a lot more homework for this mod if you want it to actually cool your Toyota. Several good electric fan swap threads. Seafairinman and bamachem are just two.

Search.
