Rear door latch cables?

Rear door latch cables?

need to find and unlock them manually to take off my rear door which was rear ended. new to toyotas and suvs all together. where are the latch cables located inside the door, what do they look like? thanks

If you can remove the inside cover of the door . you should be able to figure it out

You really need an FSM....

The back carpeted panel on the tailgate pops off, its merely clipped on. Then, there is a metal panel under it with 5 (I think?) screws that hold it on. Under that, you will see the guts of the gate. The cables should be pretty obvious.

its a 1990. okay yeah i think i know what your talkng about. i actually removed the carpet panel and the metal cover the first day i got the yota. (its six screws) just crawled back there today, i think the cables are all on the left side of the gears. just gotta spend alittle more time to figure whch ones are to the latch. prolly gonna attack it tomorrow. just waiting for insurence money to get here so i can go get another door.

There is a cable on each side, just follow them from the latch handle to the latches on either side.

right on thanks bro. yeah that and over riding the manually unlocking the door was really simple once i was in there. got it all open and off this afternoon. just gotta put the other tailgate on now and hope i get all the wiring correct ha.
