rear differential issue

hello everyone and thank you for read.so i took my 4runner to my shop to have the mechanicput a new seal in my rear diff. he got it done quicklyand as I am driving home I quickly notice that itswhining and grinding at stops. I get it pulled inand check the gear oil... it's low! very low.. soI put some in and drive it off hoping I dodged a bulletbut it still whines badly although the grinding seems tohave backed off almost completely. so my question is -would it be better to just replaced the entire axles, ringand pinion and bearings or just the bearings? does anyoneknow the most cost effective way I can fix this? thanks alot!

Take it back to mechanic and let him fix what he screwed up.

Swap diffs if it's toast.

Find a new mechanic.
