rear carseat trouble

so, im trying to figure out how to level out my sons rear- facing carseat in the back seat of my 4runner. im sure most of you are familiar how the back seat has a pretty steep angle facing upward. so, when i put the seat in there, he is pretty much falling out of the seat because of the angle. im not sure if i explained this good enough but, is there any suggestions out there to level the carseat so it will sit flat??

sounds to me like you are installing it incorrectly..how old is the carseat? from what I understand carseats now have a rated service life and some older ones don't meet current standards etc...

Have her check out the local fire or police department, many will properly install a car seat for free. If the seat's really old they may suggest a new one- those things actually have expiration dates.
