Question Radio Static

Well i noticed something IMO weird today guys. I was listening to music on the radio and decided to connect my phone to my cigarette lighter phone charger thingy. Well the second i plug it in my stereo gets a little crackly and as soon as i unplug it, it's clear again...

Tried uping the fuses in the fuse box inside the truck....still happened:/

Any suggestions on how to fix this guys?
Thanks

It is pretty common and is engine interference on the ground. It is most common with amplifiers, but also happens a lot with chargers. Some Toyotas have a service bulletin because it is so bad. You can usually buy a ground loop isolator to fix the problem.

They used to sell them at radio shack and it is usually just spliced into your ground line.
