Questions

Hi all, my grandson and I are starting a low bucks project, at least as low buck as we can make it ;-), and need to find out if this is the place to ask questions about engine overhaul? We are starting on the engine and are gonna keep it pretty much stock. 22R, 1983 4x4, need a place to find out about main, rod bearing clearances, ring end and side gap clearances etc. Any help will be appreciated if someone can point us in the right direction! Thanks for any consideration!

You can down load a factory service manual from here and it should be able to answer all of your questions.

From where? Thanks anyway. I'll just try and get hold of a Chilton or Haynes manual. Let ya know how it goes.

Search through this thread for your year factory service manual (FSM) and download it. Most FSMs that have the 22R(E) have the proper measurements you are looking for. Good luck
