I got a '86 ex-cab 4x4 and LOVE IT!!! A friend of mine has a '80 model and I was wondering about using the front-end (sas) and it has a winch bumper on it that I am interested in as well. Would this truck be useful to me for mine? Not sure about year models and what all will interchange without major mods.

 

80 axle has different wheel hubs and won't work with the "kit" SAS stuff as the vented rotors won't work. You will need 81 and up wheel hubs. Bumper won't bolt on but could be modified.

Well after very little reading and seeing many opinions suggesting to others about what I was wanting to do, I have decided to not even think about trying this. But hey, it don't hurt to ask.
