I found a pretty good deal on Bilstein HD shocks at ajusa.com (242.82 for all 4 with sales tax and shipping included) but I can't figure out if the part numbers are correct for a stock ride height, 4wd, 89 pickup. The Bilstein catalog lists part numbers b6 24-184830 (front) and b6 24-188203 (rear) on page 46 for an 84-95 pickup (includes dual rear wheel) and on page 47 lists b6 24-011396 (front) 24-011402 for a 86-95 pickup). If anyone can clear this up for me, point me in the right direction, or give me the correct part numbers that would be great. Also if anyone is in the market for new shocks that a pretty good deal for Bilsteins and its 20 cheaper without california sales tax.

I'd say the 84-95 is a misprint and should say 84-85. I highly doubt the solid axle trucks take the same front shock as the 86-95 IFS trucks. But they might be the same.

Bilstien HD shocks are a good shock BTW, I have them on my BWM.

 

Just recently replaced the two front shocks on my 87 4Runner with the Bilstein HD. All I can saw is WOW! Much improved ride and feel.
