Problem with 22r and lift

So I have a 1986 rn63 pickup with a 22r in it. Its a manual. I would really like to get it lifted, but im worried that if i do, i wont have enough power to even get up to 70 on the freeway ( who goes the speed limit these days?). Even now, 75-80 is about the fastest i can go. Its obviously much worse up hills in 4th. Right now i have 32s on it, and was wondering what i could do to compensate for the lift. A buddy of mine is lifting his and he said he was re-gearing it. What are your guy's thoughts and how did you do yours?

How big of a lift and tire size? if you plan on going with bigger tires re-gearing is a big factor. i have seen people running 35s and 36s with 5.29 gears in rear topping out at 75-80mph flat ground with the 22r, also something to look into is how many miles you have and how well your engine is still doing.

The engine has about 22k miles on it. Fairly new. I was thinking 35s with a 4 inch suspension lift. I dont want to sacrifice too much torque in regearing, but i dont want to be doing 55 on the freeway either.
