im doing a rear end swap on my pickup dez truck and was wondering how to change tranny oil? i swapped in a 4x4 v6 rear end and put new fuild in that and was wanting to do the tranny as well. how much and what viscosity should i get? and where do i fill it from?? thanks its a 5speed 22re 1995 pick up reg cab.

 

Is it so unheard of to read your owners manual...?

 

i dont have one dude. if i would, i wouldnt be asking about it on here. would you happen to know?

 

API GL-4 or GL-5 75w-90

Tranny 3.2 qts
Transfer 1.7 qts
Rear Diff 2.3 qts
Front Diff 1.7 qts

Some people claim that GL-4 shifts better, but I have tried both and cannot tell a difference myself
