Opps! - lifted and didn't realize it!
Hello all,
Newbe to the forum here.
I have a 1894 Toy PU, base, 4x4, short box, std cab.
Nearly all stock, 350K+ miles. I bought it new in '84.
I broke 2 of the 3 right rear leafs (lucky not all 3 - but once again, old reliable got us home). 350-thousand isn't to bad for a set I figure. So I bought a rear set of what I thought was stock springs on-line. After installation I now realize that it was a 4 inch lift spring set (Pro-Comp brand, if it matters).
No problem, but I am worried that the driveline angle may cause wearing on the u-joints. I don't know, but I can't be the first to put a suspension lift on an '84.
Am I worried for nothing???
Any issues with getting a matching 4 in lift set for the front (also leafs)??? Or should I keep the stock on the front. There is quite a 'california rake' on the truck now!!
Thanks for your help in advance.

if its a shortbox shoudnt be a prob, and yes you can get a set of 4" lift springs for the front, and i would...but i like leveled trucks, and now that you have a 4" lift ur gonna need bigger tires
check out wabfab, marlin crawler, or trailgear for the front springs, or buy wherever you got the rears??

Thanks Yoterr,
The engine (22R) is running a bit weak for monster tires!
I have some bigger than stock rubber on it now and for around here they are fine.
This really is just a hunting rig now.
