OME leaf spring question.
Ok so I am finally getting to the point where I can put my springs (used) on like 3 years after getting them. Just noticed that the rebound clips on one of my fronts are wrong.
I unbolted it and smacked it a few tomes with a hammer and no dice. Do I just need to grow a pair and use a bigger hammer? Or is it a press deal. I can use a much heavier hammer but dont want to fubar my stuff out of ignorance. Any guidance is appreciated.

Got a side picture of the leaf? Usually those clamps are riveted on. Looks like you may need to unbolt and swing the leaf around.
Cs009r is a rear leaf spring I think? 48"
You said you are running those on the front (as a ruf yes?) . that could be the drivers side that they swapped around so the clamp doesnt hit the pitman arm when flexed. Just a thought. Click that link to see > CS009r Installed

I got my fronts and rears mixed up
I am planning on running them as designed for now so I bet they were setup to be RUF's. That make a lot of sense. He had them bolted on a frame with axles and decided he needed more lift. I don't think they have ever been run in reality.
