You always select the lowest range that spans the values you are looking for. Since you are looking for values of less than 1 ohm, you set it to ohm. For values larger than 1 ohm but less than 200 ohm, you would set it to 200. For values larger than 200 ohm but less than 2000 ohm, you would set it to 2K... make sense?
