Known good battery you have no power at all

Not to be smart did you check if some took anything like fuses and relays

one must be careful rodents are known for doing real interesting things .

***Have you checked the known good batteryto see if it is charged???***

Good time to invest in a multimeter if you don`t have one.

yes the known good battery is good it starts my daily driver every day. thats how I know its good and I have a multimeter ive looked at the fuses under the hood and they are good ive looked for any wires unplugged. I cant find anything and the battery I charged up is good. I would think a battery thats charged would at least turn the headlights on.

Do some searching, but IIRC 12.5 volts is on the low side for a fully charged battery.

that may be true but if it will start my boat why wouldnt it at least turn the lights on they may be dim but i would suspect they would come on the buzzer doesnt even sound. its got to be something besides the battery. like I said before I took the battery out of my daily driver and put it in the runner and nothing. put it back in the daily and starts right up. is there a fuse or relay im missing

Most likely. Have you checked the fusible link?

You said you checked the fuses and they were good but did you verify you were getting 12V to the fuses?

Search for fusible link.
It's in the + wire just past the battery.

Sounds like for some reason your not getting a good ground.

What kind of reading do you get from the positive battery terminal to the engine block you should get battery voltage.

That should get you started.

From the Fuse block check for battery voltage to the battery ground

If you have none quite possible the fusible link is open

battery terminals nice and clean not cracked or broken

It is funny how it works.

Truck never lets you down till you have a date with a person you have wanted to for months.

Glad it was a easy fix.
