Hey,


I went to set the timming on my 86 4runner, and I do not have a diagnosis center by the fuse box. Were there some models that did not have one or did somebody steal it.

Also, this is my first 1st gen 4runner and the gas pedal seems really hard to push. My 95 runner seems normal, but for some reason this pedal on the 86 is really hard. It has the 22r-e and I have it hooked up correctly.

On a side note I have the cruise control switch on the steering column with all the necessary buttons to set the crusie but I have no cable under the hood. Is this common?

I think I found the answers to my questions

 

I thought I had found the answer but I didn't, there is nothing on my fender either for a diagnosis center. Any other locations or ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

86 doesn't have a diagnostic port, there is just a yellow plug where you jumper the wires.
