no check engine light?

Unhappy no check engine light?

ok im new at this,this hole forum thing.ill tell about me later but i need some help first.

i have a 94 4runner 3.0 and a automatic,just rebuilt the motor and put it in,every things hooked up,but no check engine light,ive taken out and put in a haf dozen engine but nver this problem.i tern the key on but no check eng,it terns over but wont start?

ANY Ideas

Either the main power to the ECM is not plugged in, or you may have a blow fuse, or perhaps a ground is not connected?

The main power for the ECM is usually black with red stripe.

i checked all that.i got good power and good ground.i evan swapt in a comp that i know was good and the same thing happend.

Check all your fuses again. There are two ignition circuits controlled by the ignition key. Perhaps one of the fuses is blown? No IGN+ to the ECM = won't power up.

I can't remember, and don't have a wiring diagram handy, but AM2 and IG1 IG2 I think....

thanx for the help. everything was hooked up and after many hours of testing i found out it was the afm was bad.but thanx for the help
