Newbie needs help with EFI Intake install
Hello, reassembling my 22RE. Intallaing the itake and need to know what is used for the gasket between the coolant delivery pipe and the bottom of the intake manifold. The gasket that was on the pipe looked like it may have been a crush washer or rubber o-ring? Can't tell because it just disintegrated. My gasket set does have one large copper crush washer that fits pretty well. I haven't found out what it goes to yet. Appreciate any help. Cant' find a diagram in FSM, or Haynes.
Thank you,
David

I hope this is the right place to post an inquiry. I am installing a "new" 22re engine in an 89 pickup and I am stuck on the coolant bypass tube. It has two branches, I found where the smaller one goes but the larger one goes somewhere under the intake manifold. Of course, I installed the intake manifold and air plenum befre I got to the coolant bypass tube so now I have to feel around under there to find the spot where that hose goes. It would be REALLY helpful if I could see an image if the bottom of a 22RE intake manifold.
I have been trying to search one out for awhile now. I did see a carburator version, but of course I need an EFI version. I'm going back out there now to continue to feel around under there till I find the spot. Has anyone seen a pic or diagram of the bottom of a 22RE intake manifold? I'd hate to have to take all that apart again.
