3.4 swap help

i already have a completed daily driven swap done in my 1990 4runner 5spd. the motor turned out not so great of a buy. i found a new motor with way less km's so my question is does it matter what tranny was on that motor or can i get it and put all my stuff on it to make it work in my truck. my motor is a 97 taco motor 5spd and the new motor is a 98 not sure if its standard or auto

well...SOME motors DID NOT HAVE A HOLE IN THE CRANKSHAFT FOR THE PILOT BEARING.

other than that though, the motor is the same (as far as i know).

as long as you use your MANUAL(5speed) wiring harness with the new motor, you should be fine!!
