Not a bad lookin truck. Is that front valance stock??? Looks like it's solid metal to me. Where can I get one?

You in the service?

The only valances I can find on eBay now are plastic. WTF?! When did this become the norm??

I'll find somethin beefy off an old chevy or something and make it work

They let you get away with your decals on your bumper? I go through windshields like I do my underwear and I'm tired of always having to get new stickers.

Mil decals were always allowed on the bumper people started to put them on the windshield when bumpers became plastic. Not sure where to get a metal valance but I guess I need to paint that one if they are that hard to find.

Not sure about the mileage the ODO reads 045,000? I bought it off an old lady who's late husband bought it off another old lady who was the original owner. I think the truck has 145000 and the 100000 didn't flip? Your guess is as good as mine.

Even if it had 145,000, that is still low miles for that truck...

I like 88's the best...go figure

Newbie with the 88 again

I was completely happy with my new toy till I seen some of the pictures posted on here. Now I feel a bit down like I caught a bug and the only cure is to spend money fixing up my pickup. So I want to start with the interior since it is worst area any one pics of a custom dash? I would like a aluminum dash with gauge cut outs hopefully I can fit this into a budget. Also the seat is weathered and sun baked bad it bows out badly, not comfortable anyone recommend some buckets? comfy buckets please.

I just had the oil changed the the service manager also questioned the mileage being only 45,532. When he finished he told me that he believes that it is the actual mileage from looking at the rubber suspension bushings.
